Breaking The Shackles

Tales Of My Adventure Moving Away To Experience Life Abroad.

Trenching through the jungles....

Very short post, I\'m super tired right now, it\'s like 5:40am too. I have a lot on my mind to say, but just need to refine it and be able to post it...

Anyways, just wanted to say that I finally watched a movie that Dad would never let me watch as a child - Platoon. Thought it was really good, and I can see why he didn\'t want me seeing it then.

Also watched some of A Clockwork Orange...

Anyways, I\'m sleepy - heading to bed. Thanks for all the comments, sorry I don\'t update more.

Enjoyed your comments about your Halloween costume walk. I think you almost had a little fun. That's GOOD. I guess you aren't getting sick like Doug is. Thank goodness. Do you share in the cooking? Or are you just eating out mostly. Your noodles sounded good! Hope classes are smoothing out a little. Certainly sounds like quite a challange, trying to hang it all together.

How neat to have found a friend that new Stoerm (did I spell that right?)

Have you been out with your new female friend again, after the dancing?

Don't worry, this is just a short note. Love, Grandma

I don't recall not letting you see Platoon (possible though), now "Deer Hunter" I still would advise against. I left the theatre on that one.
Liked the videos...your mother was really wanting to see more of you///might consider that. It brightens her up. I might have to put a lampshade on her if you talked as well!

ooo...poook...a ....chook

i think i can clear this up. Jim wouldn't let Tom watch the movie "Spitoon" ... Tom was picking up some bad habits already, like playing with matches, unnatural things with invertebrates, things like that, and the history of spitting indoors was a bit risky at that impressionable age. At least, that's how I remember it. Something like that anyway. Kinda, sorta that way. Anyway, it takes a heap of vittles to gag a boggie.

Well Doug ... you implied you often read Tom's blog, so you goofed since I CAN post to Tom's blog and you may "accidentally" read it ... ha ha ... so there. If I try to post to your blog, um ... will comments go into the "phantom cyberzone"? will my babbling just drift in non-nothingness until protons decay? Will they pop out on a blog in a perpendicular universe? Any help here will be briefly appreciated.

---- you very much

Patrick

As you heard we went to Houston. Kevin could not go. We went to see Natalie MacMaster on Friday night. It was all free and she did a great show. There was a storm coming so the lightning also created quite a show. The next day was a little cold but not bad. I thought that it seemed larger at Ren Fest but it could be because they moved some things around. We missed you boys but maybe when you get back you will get a chance to go to some of them. The next day we went to Spring and then to the Farmers Market so it was a fast trip as usual but very enjoyable. Hope things are going a little better for you. Have you tried any new foods lately? You were going to go back to that one place that had that thing with the noodles inside and try one of the other ones. Sorry that you got caught in Doug's silliness. It seems he likes to dish it out but can not deal with comments or being civil. Take care.
Linda
